Het Nieuwe Instituut stands for the social and innovative value of culture. A visitor to Het Nieuwe Instituut enters, as it were, ‘the museum of the future’. In Het Nieuwe Instituut visitors are provoked and confronted with questions that are maybe not of today, but are certainly of tomorrow. In other words, Het Nieuwe Instituut is true to its name: what it shows is ‘new’ and will eventually be picked up by other national and international organisations.
In Het Nieuwe Instituut we will have our first meeting: Innovations in Congenital heart Disease 2020.
With a flexible set up this will be a perfect working place for interactive sessions and workshops.
How to get there
Het Nieuwe Instituut is situated in the centre of Rotterdam, about 15 minutes on foot from Rotterdam CS railway station.
The building is part of the Museumpark and is located close to the Erasmus MC.
Het Nieuwe Instituut can be reached using public transport, with the metro (to Eendrachtsplein), tram 7 (to Eendrachtsplein or Museumpark), tram 4 (to Eendrachtsplein) and bus 44 (to Wytemaweg). For Directions click here.
Paid on-street parking in the vicinity of Het Nieuwe Instituut is limited, but the Museumpark car park is situated opposite.
